This painting is of a young woman, Bekah Hoye, whom I have know since she was a baby. She is currently working with poor children in the Dominican Republic. She sends out updates of her work with the children through Facebook, and I was inspired to paint this scene of her with three of her students, all four touching, connected, their lives intertwined cross-culturally with love passing back and forth between them. To God be the glory.
